Marzocchi Z3 QR20 fork. For 26' wheel, and for use with V-brakes or cantilevers. This fork is missing the screw-in cantilever brake posts. A replaceable crown/steerer tube with an allow 1-1/8' steerer tube that is about 166mm long. The action of this fork throughout its travel is absolutely perfect; it feels great! There is a scratch on the back of one of the stanchions(see the last picture) but it is very light.
You can barely feel it with your fingernail. The seals did not appear to be leaking. Advertised travel is 100mm, and stanchions are 30mm. This is a bit of a rare fork. That was way before it's time!
Check out the 20mm axle dropouts! This for was made in Italy in 1999, by Marzocchi, when they were making sweet, over-engineered forks.
Marzocchi Bomber Z1 Manual
Take a look at the machine work on the brake bridge! This is, after all, the same company that makes forks for many Ducati bikes, and of course the legendary MV Agusta Brutale 750. You can still find a manual for this fork in the'MTB' section of Marzocchi's website under'Tech Area' then'Owners Manuals' then type in'Z3 QR20' mark'Forks' and mark'1999' as the year. See page 11 of the manual for more info on the front QR.
You can also use a bolt in 20mm thru axle. This is a fork that is in great mechanical shape except for missing the cantilever posts. The threads for the posts are fine, but I had to use the posts on another fork. You might even still be able to order the posts from Marzocchi; they also have contact information(for whatever part of the world you might be in) on their website.
Just a quick internet search found that the brake posts and axles(bolt on 20mm and also the QR20 Q/R-skewer axle) are all readily available elsewhere. Joyride Cycles in Boise Idaho was a good resource that popped up pretty quickly on Google. This would make a great fork for a restoration. Or just to ride!

Fork has fresh 10 weight oil for improved damping range. This fork is essentially. The same as the 2000- 2001 model Z3 air. In very good condition, some nicks and scratches on the sliders, the stanchions have no wear, but only a very small nick as shown which does not affect the performance or sealing ability of the fork. Dam,ping adjustment works throughout entire range and all seals are in excellent condition as well. Clean and ready to ride!

There are a few minor scuffs. Scratches, and light decal wear but it looks great for its age! It is still in overall excellent plus cosmetic condition. This fork will accomodate disc or v brakes and is for 26 in. I have polished to where it will blind you in the sun. The stanchions, wipers and seals are in great shape.
The steer tube is 8.25 with a little extra for the race. It was not used for very long and was stored away for some time. It is a beautiful fork and will look great on your vintage build. Thanks for looking.

This fork came off a bike I bought for parts and I have never ridden on it. Fork is 100mm.
1 1/8' steerer that is just over 8 inches long. It appears to bein pretty good shape. The seals look good, the stanchions are clean. It has a air valve under the one cap.
It is both disc and v-brake compatible. I have never seen this fork in black before. Check out the pics and I will do my best to answer questions.
